Howard Baum $5000 Scholarship Application
Howard Baum has been instrumental to the success of the BPAC/GA and the bowling
industry over 60+ years. Howard became the Executive Director of the BPA of the
Carolinas and served that role until 2016. Howard oversaw the merger of our association
with Georgia, ran extremely successful tournaments and helped BPAC/GA stay at 80%
membership almost every year. Howard founded the Rising Stars youth tournament for
BPAC/GA. The Rising Stars tournament is a hugely successful tournament known
nationwide and provides our association with fundraising opportunities and scholarships for youth bowlers across NC, SC & GA.
Howard has served on many national committees with BPAA and has received
BPAA’s highest honor The Victor Lerner Memorial Medal.
